This page is just for you, girl

A safe space with tips to protect yourself online โ€” and people to reach out to when you need help. You are never alone. ๐ŸŒป

The internet can be an amazing place โ€” but it can also feel scary, overwhelming, or just plain weird sometimes. Whatever you're going through, you deserve support. This page is here for you โ€” whether you need tips to stay safe, or someone to talk to. ๐Ÿ’›

๐Ÿ”’ how to protect yourself online
๐Ÿ”

Keep it private

Never share your full name, address, school, phone number or passwords with anyone online โ€” even if they seem nice

๐Ÿ“ธ

Think before you post

Once something is online it can be very hard to remove. Ask yourself โ€” would I be OK if anyone saw this?

๐Ÿ”’

Go private

Set every social media account to private. Only accept follow requests from people you actually know in real life

๐Ÿšฉ

Know the red flags

If someone online is pushy, asks to keep secrets, or makes you feel uncomfortable โ€” that's a red flag. Trust your gut

๐Ÿ“

Turn off location

Check every app you use and turn off location sharing. No app needs to know where you are in real time

๐Ÿ›‘

Block and report

You can block and report anyone who makes you feel unsafe โ€” and you never have to explain why. Just do it

โœจ your 5 golden rules
1

You are always allowed to say no

Online or in real life โ€” no one is owed your time, your photos, or your personal information. Ever.

2

Real friends don't pressure you

If someone online is pushing you to do something that makes you uncomfortable, that is not a real friend.

3

Screenshot and save evidence

If someone says something hurtful or scary online, screenshot it before blocking them. You may need it later.

4

You won't get in trouble for telling someone

If something happens online, telling a trusted adult is always the right move. You are not in trouble โ€” they are.

5

Your feelings are always valid

If something online makes you feel sad, scared, or anxious โ€” those feelings are real and they matter.
